EPSAYA public union has started implementation of a new project in the name of “Democracy Initiatives Support Project in Azerbaijan” in Lankaran. The project will cover the dates of April 01, 2013 – September 30, 2014. The project carried out with financial support of the Azerbaijan Youth Union and the United Nations Democracy Fund. The amount of the project is 2342 AZN. The main aim of the project is to enhance democracy through the participation of all groups in society enabled by a freer, especially with participation of women and young people (who votes for the first time), and to increase the quantity and quality of the citizens of this category represents in participation of elections, as well as local self-governing bodies and municipal organizations in Azerbaijan. At the same time, the press conference should be in Lankaran about the achievements, results and conclusion of the events within the framework of the project on September 12, 2014.
