| A new project in the name of “Enhancing Cooperation Measures to Effectively Combat Trafficking in Persons through Capacity Building and Technical Assistance in Azerbaijan – Phase III” has started in the South region 2012-10-19 EPSAYA public union has
started implementation of a new project in the name of “Enhancing
Cooperation Measures to Effectively Combat Trafficking in Persons through
Capacity Building and Technical Assistance in Azerbaijan – Phase III” in Lankaran.
The project will cover the dates of October 19, 2012 – February
28, 2014. The project carried out with financial support of the
International Organization for Migration. The amount of the project
is 9900 Dollars. This project
seeks to enhance legal justice in combating trafficking in persons and
improve protection mechanism in providing
victims/potential victims of trafficking with appropriate assistance
services, in particular for migrant workers, women and children, through
capacity building for and technical assistance to concerned government authorities
and civil society partners in Azerbaijan. At the same
time, the press conference should be in Lankaran about the achievements,
results and conclusion of the events within the framework of the project on February
14, 2014.
