“Education” Public Support Association of Youth of Azerbaijan (EPSAYA) public union, a Lankaran-based organization has started to implement a regional project called “Enlightenment about climate change and its impacts on the environment” in the Southern region. The project is implemented with the 9000 (nine thousand) manats financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic. The aim of the project is to organize enlightenment and awareness of local youth about climate change and its impacts on the environment on a regional scale in connection with the development of environmental consciousness, environmental education and environmental culture. The project will last for 3 months and will cover the period from August 01 to October 31, 2025. Within the framework of the project a half-day training course will be organized for 25 young people aged 16-29 in Lankaran on 20.09.2025, in Masalli on 27.09.2025, in Astara on 04.10.2024, and in Jalilabad on 11.10.2024 with the support of the Lankaran-Astara Regional Youth and Sport Department. For information, we inform you that young people who want to participate in the training course can familiarize themselves with the information in detail in the “Announcements” section of the “News” part of the website of EPSAYA public union www.epsaya.az and they can contact the public union. Let us add that the young people who have participated in the training courses will be provided with relevant certificates and short-sleeved shirts with the logo of the NGO Agency and the organization and the project name written on them by the EPSAYA public union.
