EPSAYA public union has started implementation of a new project in the name of “Public fight against gender-based violence and domestic violence” in Lankaran. The project will cover the dates of December 20, 2022 – March 20, 2023. The project carried out with financial support of the Youth Foundation of the Azerbaijan Republic. The amount of the project is 8500 manat. The project’s goal is to organize countrywide enlightenment and awareness of youth, especially young families starting a new family in the field of public fight against gender-based violence and domestic violence, which leads to a decrease in marriages and an increase in divorces in our republic. Within the project, taking into account the geographical and gender balance, 25 young people and representative of a young family between the ages of 18-35 will be selected all over the republic and 3-day theoretical-practical conference will be organized for them on gender-based violence and domestic violence in Lankaran on February 17-19.
