EPSAYA public union has started implementation of a new project in the name of “Family institute in Azerbaijan: problems and prospects” in Lankaran. The project will cover the dates of September 01 – December 01, 2022. The project carried out with financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic. The amount of the project is 8000 manat. The project’s goal is to organize countrywide enlightenment and awareness of youth, especially young families in the field of promoting family values and increasing parental responsibility in our society by bringing up the relevance of family, women, children and gender issues in our country, as well as to implement prophylactic and preventive measures in this direction in order to strengthen the fight against domestic violence, which leads to the breakup of families and the increase in divorces. Within the project, taking into account the geographical and gender balance, 25 young people and young families between the ages of 18-35 will be selected all over the republic based on electronic application and 3-day theoretical-practical conference will be organized for them on family, women, children and gender issues in Lankaran on October 21-23. The relevant results will be announced on October 10, 2022.
